Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Last Updated: January 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by Commercial Vehicle Lawyer, PLLC ("CVL," "we," "us," or "our"), located at commercialvehiclelawyer.com (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. No Legal Advice

The Site provides general information about legal topics for educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal advice. Reading content on the Site, downloading materials, or contacting us through the Site does not establish an attorney-client relationship. You should not act or refrain from acting based on information on the Site without first consulting a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship

An attorney-client relationship with CVL is established only when:

  • We have evaluated your potential matter and confirmed in writing that we will represent you, and
  • A written engagement agreement has been signed by both you and CVL

Until both of those steps occur, no attorney-client relationship exists, no statute-of-limitations protection is afforded by your communications with us, and information you transmit is not protected by attorney-client privilege in most jurisdictions.

3. Communications & Confidentiality

While we treat information you submit through the Site with discretion, please do not send confidential, highly sensitive, or time-critical information through web forms or unencrypted email before representation is confirmed. We are not responsible for delays, interception, or loss in transmission.

4. Accuracy of Information

Information on the Site is provided "as is" and may not reflect the most current legal developments. Law varies by jurisdiction and changes frequently. Case results, settlement summaries, and statistics describe past matters and are not guarantees, predictions, or warranties about future outcomes. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site, including all text, graphics, logos, design, software, and content, is owned by CVL or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or use any portion of the Site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of those sites and do not endorse them. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CVL and its attorneys, employees, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, including any loss of data, revenue, or profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CVL and its attorneys, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

10. Jurisdiction

CVL attorneys are licensed in Florida, Georgia, Texas, New York, and Illinois, and admitted to specified federal courts. We may co-counsel with attorneys in other jurisdictions where appropriate. Visiting the Site from a jurisdiction where we are not licensed does not constitute the unauthorized practice of law in that jurisdiction.

11. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
